• Started officiating Divsion III in 1976, Division I-AA, Gateway Conference in 1986, and the Big Ten in 1994
• Officiated the 1993 D I-AA National Championship
• Received the Herm Rohrig Award in 2000
• Assigned to Holiday Bowl twice, Cotton and Peach one time each
• Served as Vice-President and President of the Big Ten Officials Association
• Currently on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Division I Football Officials
